Before your appointment
You do not usually need a referral to be seen at Gulzar Surgimed. If your family doctor has recommended a specialist opinion, bring their letter with you along with any previous reports. Booking is easiest through our appointment form, by phone or on WhatsApp.
What to bring
- A valid identity document (CNIC or passport)
- Any previous medical reports, imaging (X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI) and lab results
- A written list of the medications you are currently taking, including any herbal or over-the-counter medicine
- Your list of questions or concerns, so nothing important is forgotten during the consultation
- A companion if you would find that helpful, especially for a first specialist visit
Finding the hospital
Gulzar Surgimed is at Dewan Puli, opposite Allama Iqbal Town, on Civil Hospital Road in Bahawalpur. The location is well known locally and easy to reach by car or rickshaw. For a live map and directions, see our contact page.
During the consultation
Your doctor will spend time understanding your history, examining you where needed, and reviewing any reports. They will then explain the options and, if further investigations or treatment are needed, arrange the next steps. Feel free to ask questions and take notes.
